This is a very spiritual state but is related to practical life! This is something which takes place in day-to-day life. To rejoice on getting the desirable and getting distressed on facing the undesirable-it is invariably found in the life of most people. A major part of life is spent in this cycle. Life oscillates between happiness and distress or joy and dejection. Intellect cannot attain stability. The false is taken to be true and stupidity of not giving any importance to the real is maintained. Why is it so? Because life is not based on the Lord. The base and gist of it lies is the world! But here the state is this; in reality it is a life which is blessed.
If one receives suitability and a desirable state then consider it to be the blessings of the Lord; you will grow in humility; one will develop the attitude of bowing down before the blessings received; mental satisfaction and peace will be experienced inside oneself. External happiness and with it upward spring created by meaningless arrogance, becomes the cause of dejection and agitation on meeting an unfavourable or undesirable situation. Try to maintain equality in both eventualities. This is necessary. This kind of equanimity is the balanced joy of life. With this kind of equanimity, intellect will remain equable and stable. Then there will remain no reason for delusion.
The abidance in Brahmic consciousness naturally occurs; there is a natural experience of Truth! The sun even on being radiant does not get reflected in the unstable water. Brahmn is being's innate nature. But the instability of the intellect, its confusion and its swingings between joy and sorrow does not allow this experience to be felt. Come let us resolve. For practical life this inspiration is extremely useful. This is a very sweet and simple expression of the fact, for making the base of practical life stable and calm and to attain the height of spiritual existence. Deliberate on this and make this a part of life without further delay. O aspirant of elevation! In actuality, your welfare in all aspects is vested in this. How can one attain such a state? Is the attainment of establishment of Brahmic consciousness possible? If it is so, then what means are to be adopted? See for yourself:
