📜 Translation English

Sanjay said: O King! Gudakesh (Arjun) after stating clearly to the indwelling and all-knowing Lord 'I will not fight' become silent.

💬 Commentary English

Refuge has been sought, dilemma has been put before the Lord. Arjun has acknowledged himself to be deluded, confused, lacking in knowledge, uncertain about his duty. He has also requested for the right guidance, but put forward his own decision regarding the dilemma. It is one-sided decision–'I will not fight, Govind!' Now that the decision has been stated; what else remained to be said? That is why 'tushanim' Arjun became quiet and sat silently. In this situation what did the charioteer of Parth (Arjun) do? Sanjay describes further.
