yajjñātvā na punarmohamevam yāsyasi pāṇḍava
yena bhūtānyaśeṣeṇa drakṣyasyātmanyatho mayi
Arjun jo yeh gyan mil jayega,
Nahi moh kabhi phir nikat ayega.
Dekhega prani tu yeh tab,
Apne mein bhi aur mere mein sab.
When having known this you shall not fall into delusion and O Arjun! Through this knowledge you will see all beings without exception first in Self and then in Me, the Supreme who is Truth, Consciousness and Bliss.

The direct benefit of knowledge in life! But when? Not by just hearing it. Great souls have preached it and we have heard it; it is not limited to this only. 'Yajjnatva' the acquisition of knowledge! Hearing is good but not enough. After hearing, try to realize it in its true sense. The essence of all knowledge is the Supreme. To know the Supreme in essence! Once known then one will not again be deluded in this world. Delusion is the consequence of ignorance.
On the completion of the Gita's sermon in answer to the question put by the Lord to Arjun there is a similar indication-'kaccidajnanasammohah pranaste dhananjay?' The Lord asked Arjun-has your delusion born of ignorance been destroyed?" Delusion arises from untruth, insentience. On realizing the Truth Supreme the thought-process abides in the Truth. There, the question of delusion caused by insentience and perishable nature of things does not arise. There is a clear indication in the Shruti 'tatra ko mohah kah shokah ekatvam nu pashyati'. On experiencing the One Self of all, what kind of delusion will there be, what kind of grief! Delusion is the cause of bondage and the root of all sufferings; for this reason the direct benefit of knowledge 'yajjnatva na punarmoham'.
The veil of delusion being removed-the experience of the Reality is simultaneous. First of all, within oneself experiencing all! The first experience will be in the inmost self! The inner veils will be removed; it will be evident that everything is inside. When physicians investigate with their microscopic instruments, the human body, then they can see just the bones-flesh-skin, vessels-nerves and the blood circulating therein. But on the removal of the veil of delusion and ignorance and on the revelation of knowledge, sages and seekers have experienced that the inner being has not only merely this, but everything. The Self is the Supreme Self. There is no difference anywhere. Even if there is, it is just like a big tub full of water and a few small vessels lying in them. Water in the vessels, vessels in the water, whatever You are I am and whatever I am You are. The inner consciousness is not separate from the external vast consciousness. It is true that all this is in that boundless Supreme. Not even a particle has an existence separate from it. Why the inability to experience? Because of the curtains of delusion and ignorance! First the inner curtains should be removed; the inner experience follows; And on waking up then all around one can find that, and in it all.
