📜 Translation English

Those who accept Me as The Supreme goal and dedicate all actions to Me, meditate on Me with single-mindedness through the path of devotion, O Parth! Those who set their minds on Me I become their deliverer from this sea of the world fraught with death.

💬 Commentary English

Path of devotion is way of giving oneself to the Lord. Become devoted to the divine. Whatever is happening is because of His power, whatever is being received is because of His grace and whatever circumstances are, there they are His lila or his play. Accepting this and living one's life totally dependent on the divine. All hopes & faith to revolve around Him. He is the only support. The state of "For me only Lord Krishna (Girdhar Gopal) and none else this should be the guiding factor.

Actions will continue; let them continue, but while engaging in them there will not be the slightest bit of ego involved. Yours and surrendered to you-this is the state of mind with which all actions are to be done. When all actions done by the body are done based on His consciousness, power, strength then why is this egoism? When what one is to get and whatever is going to happen is the Divine will then why should we desire and what kind of desire? This is the surrender of action and its fruits.

This is possible with ease in worldly action; only the inner state of mind has to be changed. When the inner state of the mind does not have any egoism, attachment, longing for result, then devotion will also become single-pointed by itself. Because of these motivations the mind goes hither and thither. Where will it go now and why? Everything is His and because of Him.

Mo mann anant kahan sukh pave Jaise udi jahaj ka panchi puni jahaj mein awain

This is the easy and natural way of the meditation of the path of devotion for which the Lord is giving this inspiration here.

The essence of the path of devotion is this. Engage in action. Think of yourself as His and He yours. Your inner state should be connected to Him. The stronger this tie/bond, your mind and intellect will more strongly engaged in the meditation of the Lord. This is Mayyah veshit Chetsam mind and intellect totally immersed/enveloped by the Supreme. No further act is needed on our part; for this the Lord Himself gives assurance.

Waves rise in the ocean and die down. When and how many-cannot be counted. This world is also a very deep ocean. Beings are coming and going. Circumstances are created and erased. There is nothing in this world which is to remain here forever. Observe the time. There is Constant change. The moment we are watching is not there any more; it has moved ahead. This is the extinction of the past moment. This is the case with the bodies. Death is certain to come once, although it is happening constantly. The time is constantly consuming life, moment to moment and day by day. It is not known since when this cycle has been going on. How many times has birth taken place and how many times death and again birth and death and in between how many changes? All beings since ages have been constantly whirling in this ocean of the world. Not all! Even though few; there some fortunate ones who are having fixed their minds and intellect in the Lord & leading their life with His support namely surrendering everything to Him and depending on Him, live their life. The Lord says that 1 Myself uplift them and prevent them being from drowned in the ocean of the world.

The monkey's child holds onto its mother with its own effort. A kitten is not worried about holding onto the mother, it becomes dependent. The cat itself lifts up its child and takes care. This is the difference between the worship of the divine with form and qualities and worship of the Divine which is formless and Attributeless. On one hand, the boatman has brought the boat, board it-rest of the work is to be done by the boatman. How sweet this is assurance? Make yourself free from all concerns. The boat & the boatman are ready. Do you still prefer to whirl? If yes why? Ask yourself and do not delay in accepting the divinity of the path of devotion. When the Lord Himself is using the word Na chirat-1 soon deliver him. Even then if we delay it is improper. Come and let us experience the generosity of the Gita inspirations and with them follow the easy path of deliverance.
