The Gita is a scripture which can be experienced practically. Though the words of the all-knowing teacher Shri Krishna does not require any certificate from anyone nor is it subject to any proof, yet the deliverer of the Gita's sermon thinks it to be necessary for its universal application. The man of yoga of action is superior, because he by freeing himself from attachment, aversion and expectation attains the state of the perpetual renunciation.
The Gita has not called the state of giving up of the external apparel, family life and renouncing action as the state of renunciation. Renunciation is not established by the external features; it is an inner state of being. The inner expectations, likes and dislikes are the causes for the bondage of action. This keeps one entangled and ensnared in the cycle of coming and going from this world. While all these persist in the inner state, if external renunciation is taken, then what use is that. The bondage will remain as it is. For this reason is the clarion call of the Gita:
Whie performing action no subjection to bondage meaning total emptiness inside. This feeling of emptiness inside is real renunciation; this is the state of supreme peace (Gita2/71, 18/53) and this is the Brahmic state (Gita 2/72)! No expectation from the favourable, nor attachment with that and towards unfavourabilty no aversion in any manner. All is accepted as divine grace and divine blessing! This is the ecstasy of the man of yoga of action!!
Lest the arguments for the superiority of the Yoga of action should disappoint, deject or delude the yogis of Sankhya, for this purpose in the next two verses there a balanced attitude is found in the inspirations from the Gita-
