📜 Translation English

All moving and unmoving beings emerge from the unmanifested i. e. the subtle body of Brahma at the coming of Brahma's day and on coming of Brahma's night they get dissolved in that body named as unmanifested, i. e. the subtle body of Brahma.

💬 Commentary English

Though in the origin and dissolution of creation the cause is the Supreme only; but to administer the organization of the creation in an organized manner, the various departments are to be described for giving it necessary importance and for organizing it too; it is essential. Brahmaji is no different from the Lord. Brahma has also been born from his mental resolve and has also to merge in Him. But after the birth of Brahmaji the work of creation was carried forward through Him; for this reason by giving the description of the day and night of Brahma, the origin and dissolution of creation has been associated in this context, and clarified that on coming of the day of Brahma all beings emerge from his unmanifested form and on coming of the night all merge in him.

The days and the nights of Brahma are not ordinary ones. They are not similar to the days and nights of the mortal world. In the previous verse the method of calculation has been comprehensively elaborated. But even then there is a limit to the period of time. Brahma himself is not an eternal being; that is why the merging of all beings in him is not liberation for all. Everything does not end here. The cycle continues. This very aspect is clarified.
