They given over to egoism, power, haughtiness, desire and anger and those who indulge in the criticism of others, hate Me Who dwells in their own as well as in the bodies of others.

💬 Commentary English

Life is led under the dependence of someone! Either the embodied being will take refuge in the Lord or the world! The implication of relying on the world would be subjection to tendencies; life is not in accordance with spiritual emotions, but would be governed by the dispositions. Those who have demoniac qualities in them are scorched in the heat of propensities. They do not consider anyone equivalent to themselves, the arrogance of power, the web of desires and side by side subjection to anger, presenting their vices as virtues and finding faults with the good qualities of others engaging in the criticism of others; even further than this, not sparing the Lord and having a fault-finding view towards him also, having aversion for Him-in the present age of Kali even the Lord is not the same as before, He is also partial; this is the reality of life-to eat, drink and be merry; such persons of demoniac nature confined to such tendencies, find fault with others and as a consequence of which develop a feeling of hatred towards all.

But the difficulty is that there is no consideration for the divine consciousness. It is the path of downfall. To cause suffering to others and trouble them and as a result being in trouble themselves-this is despising the Supreme dwelling in oneself and others. This is not good from any viewpoint-Neither for this world nor for the next! Here there will be tribulations and there will follow only downslide.
