But distinct from these two is the Highest Being who has been called the Supreme Self. That indestructible Lord pervading the three worlds sustains and nourishes all.

There are several mysteries in the inspirations from the Gita. They are not mysteries in actuality, but are deep signs which reveal these mysteries. The embodied being is not different from the Supreme but the Supreme Self is certainly distinct from the embodied being. The embodied being within carries the title of the being embodied; but the Supreme being, the all-pervasive power, supports all the three worlds in Himself; He is the Lord and master of all, the sustainer and nourisher of all.

In fact, this verse is for the embodied being an inspirational guidance. The attraction the embodied being is towards the senses whereas the source is the Lord. All is dependent on this. Not understanding this in the right perspective and due to basic delusion the being is led astray by the senses. That is why this extremely important and mysterious inspiration from the Gita should be understood in depth, and reflected upon and accepted. This very inspiration is elaborated further-
