Arjun vision became distracted. In the capacity of a charioteer the Lord Himself is seated, in front of him and near him. His sight failed to see Him. "Tatrapashyat tatra"–his sight was directed far away. He failed to see who was near him. His vision is straying far away. He could only see relations, near and dear ones. He have vision got stuck there. This is what is delusion, defective vision and error. The one who is one's own is not visible but those who were not one's own, nor are they one's own, nor can they remain one's own, just prior bodily relations.
