💬 Commentary English

Arjun says, "I would like to have a look at the kings who are desirous of welfare of the evil-minded Duryodhana."

Until now Arjun is eager to engage in the battle with the unjust, oppressive and unrighteous Kauravas. That is why Arjun has spoken clearly–addressing the evil minded Duryodhan and his brothers "Dhartrashtrasya Durbodhey". Who does not know that Duryodhana and his allies have taken the side of unrighteousness? Who has the right to the kingdom? Lord Shri Krishna acted as the peace ambassador and tried to make Duryodhan understand. But to no avail Duryodhana did not listen. He made a detestable attempt to disrobe Draupadi in the fully packed royal court. Despite this, all those kings who wanted to side with Duryodhan in the war Arjun wanted to have a look at them.

When Arjun showed eagerness to see, this gave an opportunity to the Supreme playful Lord Shri Krishna to engage in spiritual sport in the warfield. He has to make every action a play. To engage in play is His nature. The events of His life are all an expression of this sportive play–manifestation in Mathura jail, reaching Gokul by night after birth, arrival of a small girl child in the form of Yogmaya to Mathura, every move of His, His angular stance. If you reflect you will conclude that every play of His is in itself a Gita, an Inspiration of Gita, Even the inspiration of the Gita is one of his play.
