If only the narration was limited to the description of Pandava warriors, it would have been an incomplete narration. Duryodhana relates to the Acharya the names of the outstanding warriors, commanders-in-chief of his own army. But he also displays cunningness. He relates 17 names of the warriors of the seven Akshauhini army of the Pandavas and only 7 of his own 11 Akshauhini army. Both Acharya Drona and Grandsire Bhishma were competent and skilled in scriptures as well as weapons. Kunti's son Karna was an unparalleled warrior and was blessed from birth with a natural shield and earrings, blessed with long life were Kripacharya and Ashwatthama and Duryodhana's own brother the pious Vikarna, the one who had performed several sacrifices; Somdutta's son Bhurishrava, Duryodhana maintains silence after this narration! Were there just these many warriors in his army? No! But he did this with crookedness to provoke and keep Acharya Drona firmly on his side–by saying 'The main responsibility is yours'. Otherwise, there were several other heroes, who armed with weapons were ready for warfare. 'Mam Sainyase' aur 'Madarthe Tyakta Jivitah' let us analyze these two statements of Duryodhana-"For me and my army these people have given up the hope to live." Here is reflected Duryodhana's way of thinking–for mine and only for me. This damage causing character of the Mahabharata likes to remain constantly in delusion and in satisfying selfish ends. This is a note of caution for us. Understand it. Delusion and selfishness in life cannot be justified from any point of view. Carefulness is required side by side. Duryodhana has still not completed his statement and continues further.
