O Lord of the entire creation! I see you with many arms, bellies, mouths and eyes and from all sides infinite forms. O cosmic form! I can see neither your end nor middle nor the beginning too.

💬 Commentary English

The manner in which Arjun addresses the Lord is giving a glimpse of the all-pervasive form of the Lord. "Viswehsar" and "Viswaroop" in these two ways Arjun has addressed the Lord. You are the Lord of the universe and the universe is Your form only. On every side one can see Your form. If your forms are limitless then it is certain that even the arms, bellies, mouths and the eyes would also be seen as boundless. All forms are Yours and You pervade all forms! Several arms, mouths, feet and eyes too-

Where is the beginning of this vast form and where it extends? Where its end is, one cannot comprehend it. Everywhere You are present and nothing else is there. When the beginning and the end cannot be seen then how and where can the centre or the middle be estimated. You are boundless, limitless, beginningless, fathomless, immeasurable. Arjun continues to watch wonderstruck. Not just this but further-
