O Arjun! In this Yoga the resolute intelligence is single-pointed. But intelligent persons of unstable, indiscriminative thoughts working with desire for the fruits of action are definitely multifold and endless.
Please fill out the form below and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
The Supreme is one; He is ever existent and all pervading! He is in all forms and all around. Target, stability, peace, single-mindedness, concentration are possible there only–never and not in the least in the worldly objects. When the aim and determination in the intellect is for God it is natural that the intellect will also become unified and single-pointed because nothing else exists there. What else is to be decided, what is the dilemma, what kind of instability will exist?
In reality the actions with a desire for fruits are the irony of life. Desireful actions take place in the state of indiscrimination. Thoughtlessness is the origin of desireful actions. When the desire for results takes possession, understand that; the intellect will become many-branched. Sometime the desire is for attaining something and one is not satiated after its attainment; or after enjoying it for a short while then it turns into a state of sorrow. There may arise the desire to attain to something thinking that one has obtained this and one should get some more and sometimes the desire to indulge in the enjoyment of the various senses organs separately causes the squandering away of the energies of intellect.
To what extent will you continue to entangle your intellect in the world? Is there any end to the enjoyment of sensual pleasures? Can ever you get contentment from enjoying them? It is necessary to end the multifarious activities of intellect in the wrong direction. Make intellect single pointed and make it realize its Real Master.
