The manner in which the topic of the man of steady wisdom was started is being concluded in the same sense. 'Sthithpragyasa ka bhasha' what are the qualities of the man of steady wisdom? Arjun has put forward this question and the Blessed Lord replies 'prajhati yada kamaansarvaan parth manogataan'. With the word 'kamaan' the word 'sarvaan' being used; and this inspiration is being reinforced here again. From this, one can imagine what weightage should be given to the abandonment of desires for attaining this state. The Blessed Lord now persuasively with reiteration is concluding this topic. For the Lord the abandonment of all desires is the dearest.
'Aisha brahmi sthithi Parth'–O Arjun! This is the state of sages becoming one with Brahm. Think how one becomes with Brahm? How has peace been attained? Not from anywhere else. Peace is our innate nature and is always available to us–only the obstacle has been removed. It is not the attainment of the unattained but the experience of the attained! 'Aisha Brahmi sthithi'–this a divine state of a person abiding in Brahm–meaning thereby that when the veil inside was removed; the inner state became completely peaceful; this is that state. Whateever is attained through desires is in reality not peace but peacelessness; Peace is the inherent and innate nature, peace is itself Brahm, and it will be experienced only if the veil of unreality is removed. Desire, longing, liking and egoism–all the veils of unreality. On their dissolution the state will be this very divine Brahmic state.
'Nainam prapya vimuyahati' The bee hovers around the flower and makes a humming sound, till it has had fill of nectar. Once it sits on the flower if is unable to lift itself before filling itself! The embodied soul till he has not been inspired by divine Brahmic consciousness and has not partaken of the supreme peace of this state, only then the attraction for the unreal world persists. But once this state becomes a reality, relationship with truth and peace is attained undoubtedly then one will never get attracted to this unreal world. 'Sthithvasyamantkaleapi' in the last moments also firmness in this state is maintained! The principle of 'Antmati so gati' is universally true. In the end moments as will be one's inner state and thought-process, so will be the future state of existence! 'Brahmnirvanmricchati' Attainment of the state of Brahm nirvana (bliss of God)! This is what is called liberation, salvation, supreme destination, supreme status, extinction in Brahm! Not the religion to be practised later but right now! Not looking to liberation after death but being liberated while living.
