📜 Translation English

A person endowed with the wisdom of the evenness of mind gives up both virtues and vices in this world meaning, thereby that he becomes free from both. That is why devote yourself to Yoga of Evenness of Mind. This Yoga of Evenness of mind is skilfulness in-action.

💬 Commentary English

How is it possible that after the performance of action, favourable results are attained or desired success is always yours? For the head of the family consisting of three or four members it is never possible that everything is constantly as per everyone's liking; it looks to be impossible. Such a vast creation–millions and trillions of beings; something is favourable for some persons and others may find something else favourable. One object can be suitable for someone at a particular point of time; but the same object may be unsuitable at the same time for someone else. This sphere of activity relates to God; and mental peace and welfare lies in leaving it to God's will.

One more issue deserves consideration. An innocent child is not able to distinguish between whether welfare lies in attaining something or not attaining it. The father is aware what is good and what is harmful for the child. The embodied soul is ignorant, does not know what is right and what is wrong. One has to leave it to the Father of all. One has to say in humble manner similar to that of Arjun, there is no other way out. In this attitude is carefreeness, if you want to remain worry-free and tension-free then relinquish the desire for the fruits of action; do not worry as to what will be attained! Whatever is attained will be good for me; it will be in my favour.
