There are two states of those who have fallen from yoga. One where there was faith in self-upliftment but the mind could not be subdued. Somewhere in the mind there lurked the desire for worldly indulgences, this state has been described in the foregoing verses. But there are some, who fallen from yoga, are completely dispassionate and
their goal is also the attainment of godhood, but the age was not on their side. The
body was abandoned in the state of withdrawal and detachment from this world. For
them is described the rare state in this verse.
Such a person fallen from yoga is from the beginning detached from worldly indulgences; for this reason there is no issue of attainment of heaven, etc. He directly takes birth at place in such a family, where there is existing, dedication towards yoga; the house where there is devotion, worship of the Lord and the dedication for the attainment of godhood. With birth is provided an environment, in accordance with previously unfinished stage of spiritual self discipline and the spiritual dedication starts from that point itself. But the Lord says that this type of birth in this world is a rarity.

But if the understanding reaches there, then it will never be futile.)
If such an environment is given then further dedication towards that goal becomes easy to attain. Now follows further inspiration of the Gita-
