📜 Translation English

Sanjay said:

On hearing the words of Lord Keshav, Arjun the crowned one, even though trembling with fear, with palms joined in reverence once again offered salutations to the Lord and in a voice filled with emotions spoke to the Lord.

💬 Commentary English

Sanjay is the direct viewer. He is able to see both the Lord's form and the mental state of Arjun. Along with this who is saying what, Sanjay is also able to hear and is also communicating it to Dhritrashtra. Sanjay is playing the role of both the speaker and the listener. Sanjay is describing whatever Arjun uttered on viewing the vast fearsome form of the Lord and his reaction to it-

Even now the sight of the terrifying effect of the fearsome form of the Lord is not going away from Arjun's mind; that is why even on hearing the Lord's assurance, words of solace and on hearing and understanding the reality also, Arjun is somewhat scared, subdued and is trembling too but at the same time, on having a vision of the transcendental mighty divinity he is also filled with emotions; he is also offering his salutations with palms joined in reverence and is also eager to offer his adorations on seeing His divine form.
