Arjun said:
O Lord, the knower of inmost feelings! By engaging in singing of the glories of Your name, qualities, etc. the world is rejoicing and filled with affection. The fearful demons are fleeing to all quarters and all the hosts of perfected ones are bowing before You in adoration; it is but befitting.

On viewing the universal form of the Lord, this is a very inspiring eulogy being offered by Arjun. This section is considered to be one of the most important sections of the Gita. In the form of adoration of the Divine the words uttered by Arjun are wonderful and worthy of meditative contemplation.
The clear, direct and natural effect of the recitation and singing of the name of the Lord can be experienced! The chanting of the Lord's name is in every way a state of delight. The meaningfulness of speech, the purity of the inmost self, and positive solution to the environmental pollution in the form of thoughts and sound, is chanting of the name of the Lord. See the state of 'Jo pind so brahmand' (as is in the embodied being so it is in the cosmos); even then the adoration-filled expression of Arjun appears to be very meaningful, appropriate and relevant. Whether outward and inward to the extent the effect of name recitation prevails, there is state of natural joy and delight. The effect is not restricted to the ears on which they fall. The pervasiveness of the word is also acknowledged by science; a word side by side penetrates into the entire surroundings; that is why it is meant for the entire world. Here in any case the state is of the sight of the cosmic form.
The Lord has assumed a mighty form. The expansive effect of the singing of the glories of the name of the Lord is always there.
There is surge of natural love for the Lord inside too. Those who feel that their emotions and habits are dry or harsh they should practise the chanting of name of the Lord. Love and affection will be felt naturally. Demoniac tendencies are terrified inside and under the presence of splendid effect of the singing of the name of the Lord, the demons can also not sustain themselves, outside too; the divine tendencies prevail, become thrilled, arrogance dies its own death, humility enhances, ignorance becomes baseless; each and every pore of the body is experienced to be bowing in reverence to this state of bliss attained due to divine grace. The impact of the singing of the name of the Lord is definitely this. It is in every way right and appropriate.
Why is it right and appropriate? Just because Arjun has seen it himself and said so. No, in the expressions of the Gita there is a proper sequence and logic. See it in the following verses of the Gita-
